PRIVACY NOTICE
As FATMA NUR DOĞAN FHATT TEKSTİL (the “Company”), we provide this Privacy Notice to fulfil our obligation to inform you under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
Data controller
The data controller is FATMA NUR DOĞAN FHATT TEKSTİL, located at Teşvikiye Mah. Ahmet Fetgeri Sok. Niyagara Apt. No:32 Kat:2 D:8 Şişli/İstanbul and registered with the İstanbul Trade Registry Office under registration number 426202-5.
Personal data processed and how it is collected
We may process the identity details you share through online and/or printed forms (name, surname, date of birth, nationality, Turkish ID number, gender, passport number and expiry date), your contact details (email address, billing and delivery addresses, mobile phone number), customer transaction data collected while you use our website (requests, orders, invoices, payment information), marketing data (cookie records, shopping history, explicit or implicit ratings), transaction security data (IP address, login and logout records, username, password, connection time and duration) and, depending on your browser settings, location data.
Purposes of processing
The email address, name, address and mobile phone number you provide when purchasing on our website are processed to deliver your order, to fulfil the sales contract between you and the Company, to contact you about your order when necessary, to complete your membership if you register, to send you commercial electronic messages if you consent, to fulfil the terms of the membership agreement, and to retain records for the periods required by law.
Transfers
Your personal data is not transferred to any third party.
Method and legal basis
Your personal data is collected through the forms on our website during your purchase, on the legal basis that processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract to which you are a party.
Direct marketing
If you are an existing customer, we may use your contact details to send you marketing communications about similar FHATT products where permitted by law, unless you opt out. In all other cases, we ask for your consent first.
Security and retention
We use technical and organisational measures, including encryption and authentication tools, to protect your personal data. We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or longer where required by law (for example, tax and sales legislation).
Email security
Never include your card number or passwords in emails to our customer service. Information in emails may be visible to third parties, and we cannot guarantee its security.
Your rights under KVKK
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred,
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- To request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in KVKK, and to request that third parties be notified of such correction or deletion,
- To object to a result against you arising solely from automated processing,
- To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
